What is Wesleyan’s Board of Trustees?
What do they do?
In an all-student e-mail, as well as circulating around campus, there is a document answering those questions. Also, you will have the opportunity to find out for yourself at the following events:
-Trustee Meet and Greet: Zelnick Pavilion, Friday, February 23 from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.
-Presentation from the Chair of the Board (Jim Dresser) to the WSA: PAC 002, Sunday, Feb. 25 4-5 p.m.
-Discussion with the Jim Dresser ’65 Chair of the Board at 200 Church, Sunday, February 25, 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. There will be FREE FOOD as well.
Please take one of these opportunities to learn more about Wesleyan’s Board of Trustees. This is particularly important this year because, as mandated by Wesleyan’s charter, the Board is the group of individuals that hires the next President from the pool of candidates presented to them by the Presidential Search Committee. Make sure you know who the people are that are making this important decision!
