Vote! It’s not too late late

Have you done your democratic duty yet? Many states deadlines for requesting an absentee ballot have not passed but are going to in the next few days. DON’T GET LEFT OUT. A number of states let you request up until October 31. Go to Google, type in the county where you are registered and “elections” or “absentee ballot.” Print out the form, fill it out and put it in the mail. Once you get your ballot you vote and send it back. It’s that easy. I’m not going to tell you what’s at stake in this election. You already know where this administration and its lapdog Congress have taken us (war, debt, tax cuts for the rich, student loan cuts, right-wing judges, corruption, etc.). You can change that this year. Pundits are talking about 2006 as a possible tsunami election that brings Democratic majorities in both Houses. That can’t happen without you. Please request your ballot now: it takes 5 minutes and a 39 cent stamp. The cost of changing your country is cheap. The cost of not doing it… I don’t even want to think about.
