Motives for free speech?

I would like to question Zach Goldstein’s motive for writing his Wespeak (April 16), and the Editors’ decision to print it. This is the article which includes, “I’d love to have you [Doug Bennet] lick my asshole…” and “I’d like to volunteer, though—my asshole is still pretty tight…”

The Wespeak begins by discussing chalking, and turns into an angry tirade. First, why was this article printed in the first place? I believe I am justified in saying that if I write a wespeak about Zach and stating that he gives good rim jobs, it is not a breech of free speech if the Argus declines to print it. Likewise, if I chalk, “Zach Goldstein likes to lick my fucking asshole” in front of the Campus Center, Bennet, Zach, or anyone else is justified in washing it off. Zach, why do you want chalking on campu—o you can chalk, “Doug, if you want to fuck me, just ask,” in front of North college?

With chalking like that, a ban of chalking is legitimate in my mind. What’s next, a ban on Wespeaks?
