Wesleyan Playoff Possibilities!

Men’s Lacrosse

Wesleyan has clinched a spot in the NESCAC Championship for the seventh straight year. The Cardinals earn a first-round home game with:

-A win over Conn. College and wins by either Tufts or Middlebury (or both).

-A loss to Conn. College and:

-A Middlebury win over Williams, a Bowdoin win over Tufts, and a Colby win over Bates or a Bates victory and a Trinity win over Amherst.

-Wins by Williams, Tufts and Colby.

Wesleyan will play Bowdoin, Colby, Trinity, or Williams in the first round.

 

Women’s Lacrosse

Wesleyan clinches a spot in the NESCAC Championship with a win over Conn. College and:

-A Tufts win over Bowdoin and:

-A Middlebury win over Williams.

-A Middlebury loss to Williams and a Trinity win over Amherst.

-A Middlebury loss to Williams, a Trinity loss to Amherst and a Bates victory over Colby.

-A Bowdoin win over Tufts and a Trinity win over Amherst.

 

Softball

Wesleyan can clinch a playoff spot with:

-Two wins (out of three games) against Hamilton.

-One win against Hamilton and two Amherst wins against Williams.

-An Amherst sweep of Williams.

 

Wesleyan can clinch the NESCAC West title with:

-A sweep of Hamilton and one Williams win against Amherst.

-Two wins against Hamilton and two Williams wins against Amherst.

 

Wesleyan clinches a share of the Little Three title if Williams takes two out of three against Amherst.
