“Putting up straight pride banners would not be tolerated” runs a close second to “why isn’t there a white history month?” as the dumbest shit a human being can utter. Try this. Turn on your television at any time of day. Watch any three channels for thirty seconds each. I guarantee that you’ll see some celebration of heteronormativity. Now get in a car. Drive along any highway past any three billboards. Again, heteronormativity. Until all of that melts away, shut your fucking mouth when queers assert their existence as human beings. Thanks.
