Project $ave: a lot like GeoGreen

Before this paper devolves into a debate on whether Project $ave is an environmental or an economic initiative, I suggest that people who think that these goals are mutually exclusive read up on Thomas Friedman’s Geo-Green platform.

Effective reform has to be multifaceted: economic reform, political reform, and environmental reform are all part of the GeoGreen platform. If you believes that economic policy should not be a consideration in environmental reform, unfortunately, you are doomed to a self-defeating platform, as you will not garner the support of people that have the power to make changes on a large scale (corporate executives, business owners, stock holders, campaign managers, etc.). Conversely, if you hold money as a goal above all else, well, I think the pitfalls of that stance are clear.

GeoGreen. Project $ave is GeoGreen. I hope it works.
