It’s time to give

It is a sad day when less than 100 students out of a campus of almost 3000 come to a blood drive. When we try so hard to advertise and get people to come, and so few people respond.

We all expect blood to be there for us, but barely a fraction of those who can give, do. Yet sooner or later, virtually all of us will face a time of great vulnerability in which we will need blood.

I know people have a fear of needles, they think that they are anemic, and they just don’t have the time. But if you take yourself out of the situation and think about someone else using those excuses when you need blood, maybe you will realize that you can conquer your fear, eat some iron-rich foods, and find just 1 HOUR to come donate blood.

So I implore you to step out of your comfort zone and take the time to try to and donate blood. Please email wesleyanblooddrive@yahoo.com to make an appt for next Monday 9-1:45 or Tuesday 12-4:45.
