Weekend in Review

[nggallery id=42]

Sending us into finals season with some serious panache, this past weekend offered a variety of opportunities for the artistically inclined. Second Stage sponsored two shows, “The Canterville Ghost” in Beckham Hall and “Someone Who’ll Watch Over Me” in the WestCo Cafe, while shows went up at Earth House (with Grooms, Slothbear, and Strange Shapesor) and the Poetry Slam went down at Eclectic. The dance department put on the West African Dance Concert and Worlds of Dance, while the more worldly student could have checked out the South Asian Culture Show, better known as Samsara, in Crowell. The Cardinal Singers also cashed in on this arts-heavy weekend, showing off some serious pipes in a pipe-filled Memorial Chapel.
