‘Buffy’ creator Whedon ’87 coming to WesFest

Joss Whedon ’87 has made a huge name for himself since his days as a film major here at Wes. He has created, produced, directed, and written “Buffy the Vampire Slayer”, “Angel”, and “Firefly”, and also wrote “Toy Story”. His success in the entertainment industry has been enormous and he is now preparing to direct his first feature film, a big-screen version of the cancelled series “Firefly”.

This Thursday, he will be on campus at a special WesFest event. At 7:30 p.m. in the CFA Cinema, he will be showing “Once More With Feeling,” the musical episode of “Buffy”, followed by a Q & A. Afterwards, there will be a reception in the admissions building. Admission to this event is free.
