In 2018, in the 43rd Chess Olympiad organized by the Fédération Internationale des Échecs (FIDE) in Batumi, Georgia, 15-year-old Grandmaster Alireza Firouzja looked to win his final game in the tournament against the Georgian Grandmaster Giga Quparadze. After a dragon Sicilian-like opening, Firouzja unleashed a massive attack, leaving pieces seemingly hanging and sacrificing a rook, until he arrived at the following position, where he had a mate in just a few short moves. (White to play)
