Snapshots: The Spirits, The Dirty Projectors, Awesomefest, Improv Comedy, and Arthen’s Thesis

This week’s Snapshot features photos of Wesleyan’s all-male a cappella group The Spirits performing in Olin with Yale groups The New Blue and Spizzwinks by Assistant Photo Editor Andy Ribner. Photo Editor Aria Danaparamita captured Nat Baldwin, bassist of The Dirty Projectors, playing at WestCo. Staff photographer Rachel Pincus photographed Awesomefest, which celebrated its 24th anniversary this year with 19 new bands playing. Improv comedy photos were taken by staff photographer Shannon Welch and staff photographer Sydney Lewis captured Donovan Arthen’s ’11 music thesis performance.
