Blame the architect

I realize this is a little late, but stop blaming Bon Appétit for the problems with the food this year. (I’m only talking about the food, not the labor issues). The reason there are long lines and minimal choices is because Usdan was designed as a giant, beautiful, $47 million public relations machine. It was not designed to be a dining hall, and it has less functional space than Davenport had, let alone Davenport plus Mocon plus Kosher Kitchen. Its only purpose is to be large and have high ceilings and be shiny and make rich mommies and daddies want to send their children here. Given the premises behind this building, no food service could have been successful. So lay off B.A.
