Wesleyan scored on all four it its man-advantage opportunities while holding Western Connecticut scoreless on three of its five power plays. The Cards also won the groundball battle 48-17, outshot the Colonials 45-22, and won 13 of 19 face-offs.

The Cardinals will begin Little Three play on Saturday, when they travel to Amherst in search of their 12th straight win over the Lord Jeffs.
