The women’s crew team has been on the water for more than a month and will look to improve upon their short fall season, which was highlighted by middle-of-the-pack finish at the Head of the Charles regatta.
Bow to stern, the muscle of rowers 1-8 will be depended upon to power the women’s crew team to victory. Yet the voice that paces the rowers and keeps them in sync echoes from the 5’3” frame of Jinny Jang ’08, the coxswain of the first eight and 2008 team captain.
Originally a rower when she first arrived on campus, Jang converted to coxswain and never looked back. As a four-year letter winner, Jang has logged many months on the Connecticut River. Her experience and leadership will be depended upon this coming spring.
