As the days get longer, the mall gets more crowded, and we all prepare to honor and celebrate the birth of Our Lord, it’s time to get together and remember the wondrous event 2,000 years ago in Bethlehem. Unfortunately, that joy is all too short-lived, because a mere four months later, we must also commemorate the tragic loss of the joy blessed upon the world on December 25. Why must our celebration be so short-lived you ask?
The Jews. The Jews ruin Christmas.
I realize this is an unpopular opinion, particularly at this time of year when Jews and Christians alike celebrate the birth of their savior and something about candles. But a crime has been perpetuated upon people of faith, a crime left unanswered for 2,000 years, and we witness our Hebrew neighbors eat their chocolate coins and spin a piece of wood, we must remember that it is not yet time to give up the fight.
