Dear Wesleyan,
It’s that time of year again. No, we’re not talking about the annual Sign Language House topless Jell-O fight championship. It’s the time of year to submit history papers to Historical Narratives, Wesleyan’s primary repository of undergraduate history knowledge.
That’s right. Historical Narratives is accepting submissions from students just like you to get published. Why bother getting published you ask? Well, not only does getting published give you tons of street cred, but you probably didn’t know that the number of times you get published is directly proportional to your sexual attractiveness. Also, wouldn’t your grandparents love to see their progeny succeed in the field of historical research once in a while? Think of their wellbeing for a change.
Little known fact: Historical Narratives is the first history journal in the country written and edited exclusively by undergrads.
So if you have a 1500+ word paper with primary source research then submit it by Friday, Feb. 16 to submit_hn@wesleyan.edu. We accept submissions from all disciplines as long as they are relevant to the study of history and were written during your time at Wesleyan. You need not be a history major or sex offender to submit. Winners receive an all-expense paid trip to PAC for two.
