Dave Saranow clearly said in his Wespeak: “The question that needs to be answered is, ‘what are the police doing on campus?’…. Eclectic-take a stand.” Laura Nahmia’s answer was, “… the University requires us to have cops at our party. Two cops. I am actually not sure why we had so many more than that, nor am I completely convinced that there is a legitimate reason for so many administrators to be present, other than to ensure that things don’t get out of control. There is not really a precedent for there to be so many non-students officiating the party.” She did not answer the question, she did not take a stand, but included many irrelevant anecdotes and insulting commentary.
P.S. I don’t want this to continue some stupid-ass Argus feuds or whatever, and I know Dave and Laura are chums, but I agree 100 percent with what Dave said and would like some answers/action.
