In Remembrance of 9/11

In remembrance of the 9th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, the Wesleyan College Republicans wishes to honor the 9/11 victims, their families, and our troops. On that day, countless Americans came together to meet an immediate need in this nation. Firefighters, police officers, and volunteers diligently worked in the rescue efforts at Ground Zero, at the Pentagon, and in Shanksville, Pennsylvania. Others cared for the rescue workers by providing water, meals, and places to stay. Long lines formed at blood donation centers.

Men and women from all regions of the country enlisted, and men and women from all over the world sent supplies, mailed donations, and offered their thoughts and prayers.

September 11, 2001 was a turning point in American history and in our lives. Please join us in remembrance. God bless America.
