The crew teams completed their fall action on Sunday, rowing in the Head of the Fish Regatta in Saratoga, N.Y. The Cardinal men placed sixth of 17 crews in the Collegiate Eight event, clocking in at 11:16.6 on the two-mile course. Hobart placed first in the event, with Williams coming in third. Wesleyan also fielded a JV Collegiate Eight boating, placing sixth of nine entrants with a time of 12:18.4. The Wesleyan women placed 14th of 17 boats in the Collegiate Eight with a 14:13.7 clocking (with Williams taking first in the event) and took 11th place out of 13 crews in the JV event, clocking in at 14:54.7.
Both crews now have the next four months off before returning to action in the spring.
