The golf team placed fifth of seven teams in the Trinity Shootout over the weekend, its penultimate event of the fall season. Pete Taylor ’12 led the Cardinals with a 78-76-154 total, tying for sixth out of 35 participants. Next up was captain Dan DeRienzo ’11, who placed 19th with an 81-80-161 total. Eli Kendall ’11 carded an 83-84-167 for a 22nd-place finish, and A.J. Ferraro ’12 (26th, 90-85-175) and Jeff Beck ’10 (27th, 88-88-176) rounded out the Cardinals’ action in the tournament.
Wesleyan concludes its fall action with the annual New England Championship, which will be held next Monday and Tuesday in Brewster, Mass.
