– A Walk in the Woods
We will be headed to Wadsworth this Saturday for a short hike/walk. Bring your pre-frosh and a car if you have one and let’s show people how fun the outing club can be! Contact Liz (ewyner@wes) with questions. Meet at outhouse (132 High street) at 11 am.
– DIP, DIP, N SWING!
We’re shrinking the overnight canoe trip to a Saturday day paddle. Gonna be 60 degrees, sunny, and the waters will be flowing beautifully after all this rain! We’ll head out Saturday around 11, find a nice spot on the bank for some lunch, then paddle for a bit more of the afternoon. Email lfshapiro@wes if you’re interested and if you have a car, otherwise we just might be portaging through the mean streets of Middletown. Due to space issues, there’s probably just room for current Wes kids.

You know the drill, cook something up or, if you are a freshman…gank something tasty from Mocon or Summerfields (we love that cookie pie). Saturday Night. Outhouse. 6:30. Come hungry. There might even be some bumpin’ tunes. Pre-frosh welcome!

The climbing wall in the freeman athletic center is open for the semester. There’s no equipment or experience necessary, just come on down for a good time. The wall will be open Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 5-8:30 for the rest of the semester. If you’ve got any questions just email Reid (rhigginson@wesleyan.edu).

Anyone on campus is open to lead outings—and it is really easy. If you want to lead an outing just e-mail me, ewyner@wes with a blurb by Tuesday morning with the time, date, meeting place, activity and your e-mail address and I will send it out on the list serve.
