Work reunion and commencement

So it’s getting to be that time of year again. You know… THAT time. “All my senior friends are leaving!” you think. “How am I supposed to afford the cost of living this summer when I’m doing an unpaid internship?” you ask. “How can I make the most of my last few days at Wes?” you wonder. Fortunately for you, we have the answer. Work during Reunion & Commencement! For those of you who are unaware, the coolest thing you can possibly do to end the year at Wesleyan is work during Reunion & Commencement. Not only are you given free housing, but you get to make money, and say a last farewell to your graduating friends. Potential jobs include working at the Registration site, running a camp program for children, and, if you’re over 21, driving the shuttle vans. The Office of Alumni and Parent Relations is now accepting applications to work May 24-27th during Reunion & Commencement 2007.

Applications will be accepted until Thursday, April 12 with the application closing at midnight. We will notify you of your employment status on Tuesday, April 17.

There will be a mandatory student worker meeting on May 22nd in Science Center 150, at 5:30. We will provide your schedule for the weekend at that time.

If you are employed for Reunion and Commencement, University Relations will provide housing past the move-out date, which you will be required to vacate on May 28 at 12:00 Noon. Please note—if you do not show up for your shifts, University Relations will no longer provide housing, and it will be billed to your student account.

Please apply at www.wesleyan.edu/rc/students
