Award-winning playwright Charles L. Mee, author of recent Wesleyan productions Chiang Kai Chek and Vienna: Lusthaus, is in residence at Wesleyan this Monday to Friday sponsored by the Outside The Box Theater Series. On Wednesday evening at 8 p.m. in the ’92 theater, Mee will be holding an open master class during which he will workshop scenes and vignettes from Jess Chayes’ thesis production-in-progress, “We Can’t Reach You, Hartford.” After the presentation, he will critique the material, offer insight about the collaborative theater process, and answer questions. Come see a great contemporary playwright share his wisdom with the Wesleyan community!
