There are a few news items from last week that I wanted to bring to everybody’s attention:
1. The other day I actually did wipe my ass with the comics (after I had read them) because there was no toilet paper in the bathroom. I’m not sure how this relates to the whole “Jake Gold, etc.” vs. Argus Comics issue, but I just wanted to alert all interested parties to a potentially salient bit of data.
2. Despite all of the attention paid Fishinesses, the Wesspeak which truly brought concrete results (other than pissing people off) was the submission regarding “The Chicken formerly known as Oriental.”
Now an editorialization:
It is a rather telling commentary on the paucity of politically reactionary right-wing “arguments” on this campus that people must resort to obviously inflamatory, poorly worded, essentially insubstantial, shotgun-style jabs to get the readers of the Argus to pay any attention to them.
