The year is 2005. The month, October. The nation, having long been plagued by months dedicated to causes, entities, and people, can no longer keep them all straight. October has been declared “National History of History Months Month.” Here we explore some of the other lesser known things to which October is dedicated, among them, the Jewish New Year. Who knew?
