I am out of points. This annoys me, and I feel the need to discuss everything that annoys me in a public forum, because chalking is gone and that’s what Wesleyan is about, right?
I know freshmen with more points than me. Just because I eat whole-grain cornbread from vegan café every day and can’t resist the chocolate-covered Oreos in Weshop doesn’t mean I deserve to starve. I refuse to blame myself for this, since it is my God-given right as a Wesleyan student to eat food more expensive than anything I’ll be able to afford in the rest of my life as a non-profit social worker.
I blame my housemates. They have about 900 points each, and are constantly cooking organic tofu curry or roasted baby salmon in duck sauce or some shit, and I don’t understand. Either they’re colluding with Aramark to actually steal all my points from my card, or erasing my memory, or just assholes. Regardless, they’re assholes, and owe me.
Lobsterfest at WesWings guys, seriously. I’ll be on a hunger strike until then, and by hunger strike I mean refusing to wash the dishes and throwing raves in the common room on Tuesday nights. Love y’all!
