My weekend’s been pretty good

Writing this on Saturday afternoon, I can confidently say that my weekend, up to this point, has been pretty damn good. Let me see—well, Thursday night, I saw Babel in the ’92, which was fun. And last night, I had a nice dinner with friends. Sylvan bought super cheap wine, which was the subject of much disdain by Youngerman. Oh, and during dinner, we called Sam Bathrick during his radio show, and we could hear the phone ringing on the air! How exciting is that?!?

Anyways, after dinner, we went to the Vagina Monologues, which was cool, I hadn’t seen it before, and my friend Ann was in it and she was excellent (you go Ann!!!)! Then we went back to our house to play quarters, which was a pretty good time, especially because I was eating bagels with Nutella during the game. Please, control your jealousy, it’s a little off-putting.

After quarters, we headed to the WestCo cafe for some reason that I can’t remember. Can you believe it—the WestCo cafe! I know, I hadn’t been there in so long either. But it was nice. And then for the rest of Friday night I did other stuff, but what I really want to talk about is today, Saturday. It’s so beautiful today, I’ve been outside all day! We played knockout (also known by some Oregonians as “Bump”) for a while in the afternoon, and then I just sat around outside for a while. I even got to take in a Boogie Club show outside of Olin (maybe it was just a practice though).

All things considered, my weekend has been pretty good so far. I hope tonight is fun too!
