Handrails: A Message for Students with Bikes

As riders, you know locking your bike up when you’re not riding it is important – it’s very easy to steal a bike, and if your bike were stolen, getting around would be much more difficult for you. However, when you lock a bike to a handrail, it can make getting around much more difficult for other people, particular students with disabilities who may make more use of the handrails. It might be something you do without even thinking about it, but it can make a big difference for someone if you take another minute and find a post, tree, rack, or other nearby object. Thanks for helping keep Wesleyan accessible.
