Support WESU

Since 1939, WESU has been serving the Wesleyan community and the greater central Connecticut region with a diverse schedule of music and public affairs programming. Now, on the eve of our 70th birthday, we are asking for your support during our fourth annual holiday pledge drive, which started on Dec. 1 and will last until Dec. 14.

I know times are tough and on a tight student budget, contributing to the radio station might seem extraneous, but consider what you’re supporting when you donate: a free-form, non-commercial outlet that always has its doors open to new DJs and broadcasts 24 hours a day, giving Wesleyan a voice here on campus and all around the world through our online stream. Since we’re a non-commercial station, we rely on listener support for about one-third of our annual budget, with the rest covered by the SBC and the University.

Consider becoming a member of this community today. Any donation would be greatly appreciated; we offer WESU T-shirts as a thank-you gift for donations of $25, mugs for $30, and, if you’re feeling super generous, lava lamps are offered for a donation of $70.

You’ll feel great for helping WESU this holiday season, and we’ll be deeply grateful that you thought of us and that you lent a hand to sustaining non-commercial media in an age where it is sorely needed.

It is quick and easy: you can donate online at www.wesufm.org (where you can also listen to our live stream) or call 860-685-7700 and speak to one of our phone operators to make your pledge. Thanks for supporting 88.1 FM WESU.
