Reclaim MPR space

How many of you have been to the Multi Purpose Room (MPR) in the basement of Usdan? Maybe you dropped in for senior pictures for the yearbook and noticed it has comfy couches and is otherwise devoid of character. More than likely you’ve passed by on the way to pick up a package and that’s about it.

During reading week the Usdan Student Space Task Force (WeSpace) will be having a 24 hour open call for people to come and transform the space. Reclaim our student center for students and personalize the MPR! Stop by, help make murals, watch, enjoy, or create some art, improv, a cappella, dance and music.

There will be an open planning meeting this Friday May 2 at 4 p.m. in the MPR to design murals and conceptualize how to make the basement MPR a more accessible space. Details to come on the 24 hour create-in. This opportunity can be the first step on the path to encourage students to own and transform our new campus center. Please contact Rebecca at rchavez@wesleyan.edu with any questions.

Make the MPR a student space!
