Are you interested in ethnic studies at Wesleyan? Do you want to know what kind of work students have been doing in the field? Check out the Asian American studies conference to hear Wes alums and current students present their research. Topics will include cultural consumption and culinary imperialism, mail-order brides, fugitive pedagogy and the idea of “immigrant” vs. “refugee” as well as two amazing one-woman shows. There’s even two slam poets, Bao Phi and Giles Li. Saturday April 10th, 10-4 PAC001. Spoken word 8pm at X House.
