Who: The Terpsichore Dance Troupe (not actually a performance by the Greek Muses of lyric poetry and dance, as you might have assumed from the name).

What: The group’s fall concert, consisting of 9 pieces choreographed by students and performed by whoever wanted to perform them.

When: Friday and Saturday 7 and 10 p.m.

Where: The World Music Hall

Why: Despite its fancy-pants name, Terpsichore is the dance troupe of the people. Anyone with the courage to audition got a part in the performance. And if Crass taught us anything, it’s that the best art is made by amateurs. Viva democratic dance!

How: $4 at the Box Office (Get yr. ticket earl—hey go fast).
