We’ve spent hundreds of hours over the last week perusing the series of connected tubes that make up the Internet Movie Database, and we’ve managed to compile a list of some of the most horrifyingly bad movies that have ever been created. The point of this list, though, wasn’t to create an extensive list of so-awful-they’re-funny movies; no—this list is to warn you of the worst movies of all time; movies that are so bad that they’re not funny.
5. Mega Shark vs. Giant Octopus. OK. This Asylum Films production sounds like a fantastically entertaining movie. But it’s not. It’s just incredibly bad. The good people over at Asylum should stick to re-imagining pop movies with shitty remakes, like in the immortal Transmorphers and Snakes on a Train.
4. Superbabies: Baby Geniuses 2. They just couldn’t follow up on the monumental Baby Geniuses with anything worthwhile to society. Rated at a whopping 1.4/10 on IMDB, this movie is arguably the worst movie ever made, generating hate from literally all sectors of the population.
3. The Incredibly Strange Creatures Who Stopped Living and Became Mixed Up Zombies!!? This film is actually fantastic. We just really like the title and wanted to write it again.
2. Silent Night, Deadly Night 2. There is only one redeeming moment in this remake of an already impossible-to-watch B-movie horror flick: during the insane main character’s murderous rampage he shoots a man through some garbage cans while screaming “GARBAGE DAY!”
1. Troll 2. Goblins try to trick a family in the town of Nilbog (Goblin backwards) into eating evil food that will turn them into massive evil vegetables that the Goblins can then consume. There are no trolls in this film.
