Feeling a little uninformed? Stuck in the WesBubble? Whether you need to catch up on current events, distract yourself with a crossword puzzle or check out the latest movie and theater reviews, the New York Times is available to you free of charge, 5 days a week, whenever classes are in session. Papers are available at the Campus Center, the Science Center, Summerfields, Mocon and North College. The New York Times Readership program is brought to you with support from the Dean’s Office, the WSA and a special arrangement with the Times. Along with a daily paper, this program also offers a limited number of complimentary TimesSelect memberships. TimesSelect provides on-line access to Op-Ed columnists, the Times Archive dating back to 1851, Web Tools, and Multimedia features. Pick up a card to activate your TimesSelect membership this Wednesday at any of the newspaper locations or from the WSA office. The Readership program also helps student groups bring speakers from the Times to lecture on a variety of topics. Look for more information on the TimesTalks on Campus program at the WSA office. As always, remember to recycle and feel free to contact me (amay@wesleyan.edu) or Anda Greeney (agreeney@wesleyan.edu), the WSA NYT liaison, if you have any questions.
Pick up your free New York Times!
