How’s it going, Argus readers? Your favorite bi-weekly section, Written in the Stars, is back again with the lowdown on all forthcoming astrological events, celestial plots, and cosmic schemes. Since this is the last installment until after spring break, I was sure to go extra deep with the spiritual guides during our consultation. I hope you enjoy the scoop! As always, hot tips, blessings, and compliments can be sent directly to my Wesleyan email. Complaints, inaccuracies, and scornful replies can be lodged against me via seance (half-moons only, 11:45 to 11:48 p.m.).

Pisces (February 20 – March 20)

It’s Pisces season, baby! Pump up the charm this week, and you’ll be surprised at all the invites you score to social soirees this weekend. With spring break coming up soon, it’s time to make waves while you can. Thursday’s full moon will bring positive energy to your relationships, which could provide a good time to deepen a personal connection you have with someone else. Don’t get too carried away by the excitement of it all, though, such that you say or do something you don’t mean. Every force has an opposing one. You might find yourself regretting your actions later if they were disingenuous.

Aries (March 21 – April 20)

Take a little time to clear your head this week, Aries. Your spiritual compass is particularly sensitive around the new moon, and if you listen well, your intuition will point you in the right direction when an upcoming career or planning decision arises. The full moon on March 1 might tempt you to over-burden your schedule with commitments, so just make sure to choose what you agree to wisely, and keep some time free for yourself.

Taurus (April 21 – May 21)

What’s cookin’, good lookin’? Flirty Venus crosses with Pluto on Thursday, sending some flirty energy your way. Valentine’s Day may have come and gone, but there’s definitely still a spark that’s lingering around. If you’re thinking about a certain someone in particular right now and you’re waiting for a sign, then this is it! We know what we’re talking about around here. Ask them out to dinner. It’s supposed to rain on Friday, but Saturday night looks like clear skies. ;)

Gemini (May 22 – June 21)

You have a decision coming up, Gemini. Make sure that before you commit to anything, you have all the information you need. Take some time this week to take stock of everything so that you feel confident to make the call when the time comes. Once you’ve made up your mind, stick to your gut and trust that you’ve chosen right. Let your hair down this weekend! The hard part is behind you.

Cancer (June 22 – July 22)

Exercise patience with those around you this week, Cancer. You’re always on top of your game, and it’s something you pride yourself on, but remember that just because other people might not seem as organized as you are about upcoming plans, it doesn’t mean that they care about them less. Try to handle delays or hiccups this week with a healthy sense of humor and a positive outlook, and things will clear up faster and more pleasantly than they otherwise would.

Leo (July 23 – August 22)

Your naturally optimistic and fun-loving disposition hasn’t gone unnoticed, Leo! Lovely Venus and social Pluto cross each other this week, making it a really good time to get to know new people you’ve perhaps been curious about in the past. This weekend, starting on Friday night, is also an exceptionally good time to host a social event or gathering, so dust off your dancing shoes this week and clean your house, because people will find the party!

Virgo (August 23 – September 23)

Venus and Pluto cross each other this week, creating ample opportunity to up the ante in a central relationship in your life. Even though this presents an exciting opportunity, try to avoid rushing too hastily into something if warning bells are chiming somewhere in the back of your mind. The full moon on March 1 will tempt you to act impulsively, so remember to also listen to your deeper intuition as the week winds down.

Libra (September 24 – October 23)

Take care of yourself this week, Libra! Venus is in your wellness zone, and this is a good time to take a little breather before spring break. Recalibrate and take a good look at your schedule to make sure you’re getting enough of what you need so that you’re operating at peak performance. Even if the change is a small one, making an improvement to your diet, cleaning a corner of your room, or even getting in an extra glass of water before you go to sleep could make a world of difference.

Scorpio (October 24 – November 22)

The full moon on Thursday is sending some flirty social energy your way, Scorpio! Pluto also crosses into your relationships house later this week, so if you find yourself with someone stuck on your mind, the planets are the reason why. Strike up a casual conversation with them sometime this week, and don’t be surprised if you bump into them this weekend as well. A flirtation is in the air…just in time for spring.

Sagittarius (November 23 – December 21)

If you’re thinking about making an unusually large or expensive purchase in the upcoming future, make sure you’ve done all of your research before reaching for the plastic! It’s worth it to be informed, and if you’re lazy about it and simply settle for the first one you see, you could find yourself wishing you hadn’t acted rashly later down the line. Exercise discipline, and you’ll be thankful for it later. On Thursday, your knack for research will be rewarded in the academic sphere. Study on, bookworm!

Capricorn (December 22 – January 20)

Listen to people around you and try to understand where they’re coming from, and you will benefit from your efforts. Remember to be true to yourself, too, Capricorn, because your unique spark is exactly what makes you so special. On Friday, Venus and Jupiter will pass each other, creating the perfect opportunity to go on an adventure and make fun new memories.

Aquarius (January 21 – February 19)

Mars is energizing your social life, Aquarius, so expect to have a jam-packed week and weekend! Try to watch your spending this weekend, however, so that you don’t wake up next Monday morning reeling in more ways than one. Later this week, you might get some fortunate news about a job or lead you’ve been chasing for a while, and your emphasis on practicality this week will benefit you in this realm, too.
