Broad Street Will Not Keep Books Past March 15

In preparation for the opening of a new University bookstore on Main Street, Broad Street Books has announced that after March 15, it will no longer carry books. Chris DeSena, who works in the Text Department at Broad Street, explained how book purchases will proceed in the interim period between the destocking of this bookstore and the opening of the next.

“After March 15, we will still be able to special order books,” DeSena wrote. “You can place orders in our store or on our website (www.broadstreetbooksshop.com). Orders take around four business days to arrive.”

Construction is finally underway at the new bookstore location, set to be managed by independent booksellers R.J. Julia, based in Madison, Conn.
