Many, if not all of us, are calling Middletown our home for four years and that is why I hope those students who do vote in the municipal Election on Nov. 8th – vote for Seb Giuliano for Mayor. Seb has reached out to the Wesleyan community in a number of ways as the Mayor of our city. He speaks regularly with our President, Michael Roth, and he attends many of our events to show support.

Most of all, Seb Giuliano and his supporters are backing me as a candidate for the Board of Education. That says a lot for Mayor Giuliano’s commitment to partnering with Wesleyan. Most importantly, Seb Giuliano has worked to keep Middletown and Wesleyan safe from crime. Violent crime is down 20 percent, due in part to involving the community in noticing problems and reporting them to the authorities. You may not agree with Mayor Giuliano on every issue, but he is decent, honest and has worked to make his community better for us and everyone in Middletown.
