The golf team concluded its fall action Oct. 19-20 in the New England Championship in Brewster, Mass., in which the team placed 31st of 39 teams.

The Cardinals amassed a two-day total of 671 on the par-72 Captains Golf Course. UConn took the team title with a score of 582.

Pete Taylor ’12 continued his outstanding fall with a 79-79-158, tying for 64th among the 191 participants. A.J. Ferraro ’12 was next, shooting an 87-82-169 to tie for 139th, and Jeff Beck ’10 was right behind him, tying for 145th with an 88-82-170. Captain Dan DeRienzo ’11 placed 163rd with a 90-84-174, and Tom Salah shot a 99-94-193 for 188th.

Wesleyan’s next action comes in the spring.
