“Don’t go! Don’t go! They’ll eat you up and I love you so.”

I know that wesleying already touched on this, but anyone who hasn’t listened to the Where the Wild Things Are soundtrack really needs to get on it. The songs were written by Karen O (Yeah Yeah Yeahs) and recorded by Karen O and the Kids, a super cozy collaboration between her, a bunch of other indie rock heavyweights, and some random collection of children. You should probably see the movie too. Its images and themes have made me appreciate these songs even more. Jonze and Karen O really hit on something special with this one; I don’t think the movie would have been as powerful without her songs.

Roar!!!!!!
