At a militantly green school like Wes, it’s been a little shocking to see the dining ware available at Usdan for the past couple days. Apparently due to an issue with the kitchen’s dishwashing facilities, the popular student dining center has been providing only disposable plates and utensils, and the trash is piling up. The garbage cans in the conveyor room are obviously handling much more waste than usual, and by the end of meals the space looks more than a little bit like a landfill. For everybody’s sake, let’s hope that the dishwasher gets fixed soon.
