Saturday afternoon saw the return of the annual “Waste Not, Wesleyan” tag sale at MoCon, Wesleyan’s erstwhile dining hall. Though only the class of 2010 can really lament the passing of poor MoCon (Usdan was a colossal infant when we 2011ers were ‘stupid frosh’), days like today really give the rest of us a taste of what we’re missing when we eat at Usdan (natural lighting, communal dining space, windows). But worry not, Wesleyan! Even if there aren’t many Mocon-housed events in our near future, we’ll at the very least have the tag sale for two more days. Word to the wise: if you want as pleasant a shopping experience as you can, try to arrive either really early or quite late. A giant mob of people prevented me and my friends from getting inside, and a bunch of whispering freshmen were informed that the wait to get inside would be another twenty-five minutes. And though a lesser some would disagree, the astute Wesleyan student knows that he can never have too many rugs.
