I took Introduction to American Government last semester with Melanye Price, and it was one of my favorite classes at Wesleyan. Professor Price is a dedicated, interesting, insightful and inspiring teacher, and I deeply regret the Government Department’s decision not to award her tenure. Though Argus protocol prohibits me from signing their petition now, I completely agree with the writers of the Wespeak who encourage the University to hire a more diverse faculty. Consider this me signing my name.
