The Ampersand has two great loves. One is a superficial understanding of the philosophical thinkers over the past 200 years. The other is children’s games.

In order to get the ever coveted I/E rating Parker Brothers and Mattel have been changing their games to include different philosophies. After the mass praise for “The Allegory of the Cave” version of charades, people are excited about this new trend. Why, just the other day I saw a father beat the shit out of his son with a baseball bat. Clearly, as demonstrated by their understanding punishment as theater, they play Foucault’s “Mouse Trap” at home.

In a continuation of the Ampersand’s commitment to education, we have previewed a few new philosophical games for you. Also, look for these upcoming titles:
– Might Makes Right “Skip-It”
– Cynic “Clue”
– Blinded by the “Lite Brite”: The Philosophies of Bruce Springsteen’s Lyrics
