The chicken apple sausages and 11-point steaks are tasty, but won’t quell the palate (and dare I say bowel) shock of re-immersion into Bon Appetit land. Borrow, barter or bribe your way to a decent grocer and treat yourself and a friend to duck– a comestible cure sure to rejuvenate those taste buds and invariably play the heart strings of even the most reticent crush.
According to the article “Waxman Regrets Hearing was Held” in the Sports Section of the Feb. 15 issue of The New York Times, Henry A. Waxman (D-Cal.), the chairman of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, regrets holding the nationally televised hearing over Yankees’ pitcher Roger Clemens’s alleged steroid abuse because “the four-hour hearing unnecessarily embarrassed Clemens.”

It’s hard to say exactly what components make a good restaurant, but judging by how hard it is to secure a Saturday night reservation at Roomba in New Haven, Co-Owner and Head Chef Arturo Franco-Camacho seems to have the answer. Although the Nuevo Latino restaurant is slightly steep for your average college student, the quality of food and atmosphere are worth the splurge.

The University’s Transportation Services is now offering students and all other university affiliates transportation to the Meriden train station, New Haven train station, and Bradley International airport. The new service is the result of the Peter Pan and Greyhound Bus Companies’ elimination of Monday through Thursday service to and from Middletown.
