Over 2,700 people registered for Homecoming this year, an increase from the 2,450 registrations last year, according to Gemma Ebstein, Associate VP for External Relations. Most of those who registered were parents, but Ebstein predicts that there may have been as many as 5,000 visitors—including alumni—on campus, based on estimates of the number of people who attended the football game on Saturday and other sporting events over the weekend. Ebstein also attributed the strong showing to the nice weather. This year 1,800 people pre-registered for Homecoming.
