100 doses of the H1N1 vaccine have arrived on campus. However, according to a campus-wide email from Davison Health Center director Joyce Walter, only students who are “18 or younger and are at high risk of complication from influenza” are currently eligible to receive the vaccine (not sure if you’re eligible? Find out here).

While it’s obvious that only a tiny slice of the Wesleyan population is eligible for this round, there are other options for those impatient to be vaccinated. The city of Middletown is holding a free clinic on Thursday, October 29th, for healthy participants aged two to 24. It’s by appointment only, so make sure you call (860) 344-3474 to guarantee yourself a vaccination.
